(48)pp. Contains tables for calculating labor or board by the day, by the week, and by the month, followed by 45 identical forms for recording days worked, daily rate, room number, etc. Only two entries are present, both by Charles H. Baker who worked five days in a week, earning $5.00 total. Baker's signature is on the cover, along with "Bakers Ville / 2 Mo 20, 1866." Bound in printed orange wrappers, somewhat stained, but intact. 6.5" x 4" The 1851 Table of Post Offices in the United States lists four places named Bakersville: Coshocton County, OH; Washington County, MD (Elias Baker, Postmaster); Somerset County, PA; Yancey County, NC (David D. Baker, Postmaster).
