Sobre este artículo
New York: The Macmillan Company, 1914. This satirical novel was Wells showing off his regard for a modern "New Woman," as well as his subtle antisemitism. This is a Very Good copy of the third printing of the First American Edition [stated "Published September, 1914. Reprinted November, 1914. twice"]. Red cloth binding, ruled, with titling in gilt on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 525 pages. Lightly rubbed at the margins; spine slightly darkened. Bookplate on the front paste-down. There is an inked number on the Title Page; perhaps related to a private library. Lacking a dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
