Pp. xi, fifty-four plates printed in colours, drawn and painted after nature protected with tissue guards. 4 b/w engraved plates (incl. frontispiece). Original brown cloth binding with gilt lettering and decoration to spine and front board, also blind stamped decoration, rubbed and mottled. Binding worn to corners, top and base of spine. Contents good, gathers loose, endpapers unmarked, all plates clean, some loose no foxing. A good internally clean copy. .
