Hardcover with 80 colored plates. Blind stamp on front cover. Green cloth. Cocked spine. Some shelf wear. Bumped corners. Crown of spine worn. Front interior hinge beginning to separate. Owner's name written on front endpaper with the date 1911. Some mild foxing and age toning throughout.
Frederick Edward Hulme was known as a teacher and an amateur botanist. He was the Professor of Freehand and Geometrical Drawing at King's College London from 1886. His most famous work was Familiar Wild Flowers, which was issued in nine volumes.
