Quarto (25.5 cm), pp. [12], viii, 209. Brown faux-leather boards with black-stamped sheep motif and titling, pictorial jacket. Color frontispiece by John P. Boone, black and white photos and illustrations throughout. Includes references, index, and contributions from such hunting legends as Bert Klineberger, George Landreth and Herb Klein. Publisher's promotional material laid in, along with a handwritten postcard from the author to Mr. Beagle. Jacket and top edge of text block each has faint smudge mark.
