A tight, clean, sound copy in blue cloth with pictoral printed front and copper lettering on the spine with light foxing and staining on the front and back plus a gift inscription is cut out of the top quarter of the front endpaper. Illustrated with full page black and white photographs plus some very light yellowing of the outside paper edges. The dust jacket is in very good- condition with minor overall wear plus light foxing and staining overall plus light edge wear of the top and bottom edgesl, especially on the back, plus 2 closed tears on the front top edge (about 0.5" each) plus some chipping on the spine top and bottom edges plus a closed tear on the back (about 0.25") top right corner. This is a panorama of nature's changing seasons in terms of bird life. It is about the author's bird walks in the hills of historic Rockbridge County in western Virginia, hikes through the Everglades and bird-watching in Europe. 123p.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
