This limited edition is identical to the first edition, first issue, but with the addition of the limitation page signed by Roosevelt. It is called the second issue since it was released a few months after the first issue, in the Autumn of 1893. Theodore Roosevelt served as the 26th President of the United States. He was a prolific author, writing more than 18 books during his lifetime, beginning with The Naval War of 1812 in 1882. His other notable works include The Winning of the West, African Game Trails, and The Rough Riders. The Wilderness Hunter, published in 1893, follows the young politician's exploits in North Dakota as a ranchman. Roosevelt's time in the western frontier inspired his conservationist policies and his founding of the Boone and Crockett Club.
