Sobre este artículo
London: John Camden Hotten, 1868. Hardcover, publishers blue cloth lettered in gold on spine and with triple blind rules framing front and rear covers. 304 pages. Bound without publisher's adverts at rear. Illustrated with 5 hand-colored plates and 2 b&w plates from Blake's designs in facsimile [complete as called for]. Later issue title with "Zamiel" instead of "going to & fro..." First edition. From the personal library of Louis Comfort Tiffany, with his armorial book-plate on front paste-down. Evidence of round label removed from lower spine; wear to head and heel of back-strip and tips; and front inner hinge broken, though holding. A scarce title with all illustrations present and a nice association copy to American Art Nouveau artist and designer L.C. Tiffany. Contents are clean and unmarked, some wear to cloth covers and hinge broken and tender, but attached. A near very good copy of a desirable and important critical monograph about Blake, the first to include Blake's illustrations in color, from the library of America's premier artist associated with the design and manufacture of stained glass windows and lamps, glass mosaics, blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, enamels, and metalwork during the period 1900 to 1930. Near very good. . First Edition. Hardcover. Near Very Good/Not Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
