Paperback large wide octavo, very good condition, colour & black & white photos (paintings), top spine littlle bumped, minor edgewear. 64 pp. This book of artworks by William Kentridge was published by Annandale Galleries (Sydney inner west) in association with Goodman Galleries in Johannesburg. It accompanies an exhibition on 11 June - 19 July 2008 at Annandale Galleries. There is an essay by John McDonald and an introduction by Bill Gregory (director of the Annandale Galleries). A limited edition of 2000 copies. The artist was born in Johannesburg, and has always lived in South Africa. As a visual artist he continually looks at ways to lift the images off the page and bring them to life through mediums of animated films, installation, theatre, opera or puppet shows, his fertile imagination pushing in many directions.
