Small 8vo leather with raised bands gilt-lettered spine label. 276pp. As the very few copies of this 1942 are in paper over boards or cloth, this owner of this copy many have rebound the copy unless there was a special binding created at Williamsburg . Frontispiece reprinted woodcut of the Kitchen of the Governor's Palace. Index. "Note to the Reader." Moderate scratches, nicks to covers. We still grade this a near fine copy. Scarce or unique in leather binding.
