Hardback book is tight clean and square. Cloth Boards sharp and clean, gilt perfect. Text block clean and sharp. Feels very gently read. Jacket fine, has no marks or tears. Slipcase grades very good, light bumps to corners, couple of spots to top edge. Glazed illustrated panels have bold colours. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A nice example of this edition of a classic title, illustrated by John Burningham in black & white and with 12 colour plates.
