Robertson, 1909 First Printing in gilt-stamped burgundy cloth boards, no markings, NOT ex-lib, minimal shelf wear & soil to boards, small moisture droplet stain front panel foredge, spine darkened but titles legible, a few of the orginally uncut pages were separated rather inexpertly with some loss to a few page margins (contents completely unaffected), a clean tight very nice copy of this scarce title by the once-lauded writer, a work considered flawless and breathtaking by another California writer, the still-beloved Ambrose Bierce; 8vo; 137pp. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good+.
