Chicago : The John C Winston Company, 1924. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed. 9.5" by 7". None. The first illustrated edition of this work by Louis Tracey. This work was first published in 1903, and this is the first publication since the initial publication. Illustrated throughout, with eleven full page plates. Louis Tracy was a British jounralist and prolific fictional writer. He used several pseudonyms which were often shared with M P Shiel, his collaborator. In original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart. Some handling marks to boards in addition to minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Some patches of mould from damp staining to rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with scattered spots to endpapers and the odd spot throughout. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
