S.l.: Winkler's Band, 1883. Very Good -. 1 card (11.5 x 7.5 cm.) with chromolithographed illustration of a girl wearing a red hat with red roses. It advertised a trip on the Bound Brook Railroad to Switchback and Glen Onoko in Pennsylvania on Sept. 6, 1883. The price has been changed from $2.50 to $2.25. The back of the card is blank. Winkler's Band was established by New Jersey musician Albert Winkler (b. 1851) in 1874. It performed at Sunday concerts in Cadwalader Park in Trenton, N.J., as well as at many locations in New York, Philadelphia, and elsewhere. Scarce. In Very Good- Condition: front is lightly soiled; lower corners are slightly creased; back (blank) is discolored.
