Ethan now finds himself working as a clerk in a grocery store. --- In full olive cloth-covered boards with cover titling in silver on red block, silver & red spine titling and burnt orange endpapers. 1961 date appears in book but possibly published c.1960s-80s. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- With prior owner's penciled notation to front free endpaper, faint spine discoloration and dulling to red spine titling, else a bright, unmarked and tightly-bound copy.; Octavo (8 to 9 in. tall); [6], 281 pages .
Sinopsis
The Winter of Our Discontent published in 1961, is John Steinbeck's last novel. The title is a reference to the line "Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this son [or sun] of York," from William Shakespeare's Richard III.
