Sobre este artículo

New York: The Viking Press. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. [c.1960s-80s]. BCE. Hardcover. A likely book club edition of John Steinbeck's last novel. Set in New England, this is the story of Ethan Allen Hawley, whose wealthy forebears squandered the family fortune. Ethan now finds himself working as a clerk in a grocery store. --- In full olive cloth-covered boards with cover titling in silver on red block, silver & red spine titling and burnt orange endpapers. 1961 date appears in book but possibly published c.1960s-80s. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- With prior owner's penciled notation to front free endpaper, faint spine discoloration and dulling to red spine titling, else a bright, unmarked and tightly-bound copy.; Octavo (8 to 9 in. tall); [6], 281 pages .
