(N.p): Privately Printed, 1905. A separate printing of "Detached Thoughts" from volume five of "The Works of Horace Walpole", 1798. Octavo, tan paper spine and corners, marbled boards, printed paper label on upper board, pp. 41. Limited to seventy-five copies on hand-made Italian paper and five copies on imperial Japan, is the first to be printed in the Bodoni type, especially cast for the University Press, Cambridge USA. Signed presentation copy, "To Will Bradley/ with cordial greetings from Lewis Buddy III/ Xmas 1905". With a Zamorano Club bookplate, noting the gifting of the book to the club by Bradley in 1957. This is one of the seventy-five copies on hand-made Italian paper. Many pages unopened, light soiling and rubbing to the covers, else very good..
