New York: Putnam, 1939. Book. Illus. by head and tail piece small illustrations by the author. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The second book in White's Camelot troika that was adapted in the 1950s into the musical CAMELOT. This is the true first edition published a year before the UK first. Original blue cloth with a gilt fort on the front and a bright gilt title on the unfaded spine. Rare in its dust jacket that has edge wear , but is NOT price clipped. Now protected in a mylar sleeve. Inside , very clean and tight , with no prior owner marks, no stains and no browning. s.
