Part of the top edge of the DJ board spine is missing(just above title). Small area of peeling/damage in centre of board spine. Last story page and back endpaper have come detached from binding but are present. Small tears/pieces missing on the side edge of the last story page(text is barely affected). bIinding is strong overall. Black and white frontispiece illustration of a Zulu warrior. Novel is scarce in this edition. Tanned pages. . Good. Hardcover. First Thus. 1914.
