New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1972. First edition. Hardcover. Very good. SIGNED. 379pp. Large octavo [22 cm] White cloth over boards with lettering in metallic blue and gilt on the spine. Orange endpapers. The spine is rolled, the spine ends and corners of the boards are gently bumped, and the boards are lightly soiled. There are numerous shallow closed tears and chips in the edges of the dust jacket. Paul Bowles has signed the half title page. The author writes, "Paul Bowles, Tangier, April 1985.
