Sobre este artículo
New York 1952 first edition first printing (stated). Random House. Large octavo hardcover. Black cloth with title and publisher in white ink and author name in gilt on spine. Original black end papers. 808p. Top edge rouged. Truly VERY GOOD PLUS . Only "fault" is slight rubbing of author's name on backstrip (still very legible). Text Fine and clean. ***Of special interest is the brief (3 lines) but clever and grateful inscription written and signed by Chambers in presenting the book to Marjorie Smith. John Barkham and his researcher Marjorie Smith worked in the Foreign News department at Time Magazine along with Chambers and Chambers valued them both very highly. No wear. No dust jacket. No owner marks. Pictures available on request. .
