From the dj, "The great theme of Witness is the ordeal of the human soul caught in the 20th century's conflict of faiths...".
The book has some shelf wear; most significantly along bottom front edge and some small black marks from a magic marker on the first two title pages. Also some chipping along first two fly-leaf pages. Evidence that a label was torn from the last black fly leaf page. Otherwise all pages a clear, unmarked and without any tears. The unclipped Dj.(which is covered with a transparent book cover) has some shelf wear and unfortunately has been taped onto the front and back covers of the book. however, Dj has no tears.
