Octavo. 8.5 x 6 in. 369pp. Black boards backed with red quarter-cloth; gold spine titles; decorative motif stamped in black on bottom of front board; red topstain; in dust jacket. One small white abrasion to the paper at the top of the rear board, a couple of smudges to the red topstain. Else near fine in a near fine, unclipped ("$10.00") jacket with light wear and laminate curling at the spine ends. Attractive copy. Jacket design by R. D. Scudellari. [N.B. Knopf is indeed the correct publisher of this title, despite most other copies currently on the market repeating an erroneous ascription to Random House.]

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports.
