The author was a founding member of the Seattle-King County Chapter of National Organization for Women. She gave numerous speeches, published poetry & several articles including Letter to My Parents on Why I Added Legally My Mother's Maiden Name to My Father's Surname. In this essay she decries the relationships between women & men in light of the advances of the women's movement, advising women to "save your sons" Acerbic throughout, in closing she adds: "Who cares about clitoral or vaginal orgasm, pussy kissing or penis thrusting if the partner is archaic? Who cares about roses, bread or books if the giver is frozen?" Quite uncommon, not found in OCLC
