SPLENDID COPY of the Edition De Luxe w/ the Scarce Dust Wrapper & Custom-Made Box
This Edition Deluxe is #44 of 250 copies with 60 designs by Walter Crane.
Nineteen of these are beautifully detailed full-pg tipped-in color lithographs mounted within
gilt borders.
Small 4to, cream & gilt embossed with blind-stamped design, lovely gilt & cream eps and tissue guards issued loose to protect the plates (see publ note still present.) Accompanied by an olive green gilt silk dj (dj has 1/8" closed tear at bottom front spine which has been neatly repaired- archival glue. Only visible from behind - not on the green side. There was a crack at the top of spine edge which has been neatly repaired.
Housed in a gilt-lettered drop-back blue box also VG.
