Very Good in Very Good DJ. 6th printing 1964 of the edition originally published in 1947, very good blue cloth hardcover with illustration in silver to cover and silver letter to spine that shows mild bit of bowing to covers, bumping to top corners, light foxing to page egdes, bit of soil and toning to pastedowns and some other mild trace wear, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows light bit of rubbing and soil along with edgewear that includes some wrinkling and closed tears. 539 pages with endpaper maps and illustrations by H. Baumhauer. Still a pleasing copy in jacket of this classic work of literature translated from the Swedish by Velma Swanston Howard.
