Starting at the front -- the endpapers are illustrated, with a panoramic scene; turn the page to the half-title and again there is double page artwork -- a different scene, not just repeated, and again for the double page spread with the title page. These same three picture spreads are repeated at the end of the book. The front and rear endpaper illustrations are the same, but reversed.
