Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other illustrations throughout. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed, but text and illustrations remain clear. Binding is firm. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with noticeable crushing and splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright. Light rubbing and scuffing overall. Forward lean.
