George David Perrottet (1890-1971), 'although technically an amateur artist, was one of Australia's most admired and prolific bookplate designers, producing over 220 bookplates between 1929 and 1964' (Mark Ferson, in 'The New Australian Bookplate Society Newsletter', Number 16, March 2010).

Provenance: Marcie Muir (1919-2007); by descent.
