London: Hutchinson and Co Ltd Beautifully illustrated book of verse for youger readers, 64 pages in overall bright clean condition just the occasional very light mark, Many single and double colour illustrations, all present as issued plus a verse on each page, between pages 16/17 and 32/33 there is slight seperation where binding has become a little loose but the otriginal cords are there and holding. Dustwrapper is rubbed and worn with some small losses to edges and light marking,,not price clipped,outer boards clean with a thin line of discolouration to bottom front edge of board and top and bottom of spine. Not dated but is 1940s.Though not perfect still a pleasing a example of this book SEE IMAGES. DETAILED IMAGES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. Boards. Good Plus/Good. Illus. by Helen Haywood. 8 ¾ x 5¼ Inches.
