Sobre este artículo

London, Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press: Yale University Press, 1937. [1937] First Edition hardcover, black binding, gilt lettering, frontispiece and vintage photos throughout, 333 pages. THIS IS NOT A MORE RECENT REPRINT, OR A FACSIMILE, OR A BOOK ON DEMAND: THIS IS THE 1937 EDITION. Condition of binding: Bumps to two corners (one has lightly creased several pages), small hole on back cover and several scratches (from shelving?), backstrip (spine) has several dark stains and has lighten from sun exposure (sunning also on upper extremity of rear cover). Edges age toned. Light foxing to rear endpapers. Pages have light age toning, else are in Near Fine condition (clean, clear, readable); photos are vivid. Binding is tight. Here is the history of the liberal arts school and the early beginnings of the history of the University, later to be known as the College of Wooster located in mid-Ohio. The college was founded in 1866 by the Presbyterian Church. It has been non-sectarian since 1969. This is a well-written, fascinating, historical work. Collectible. Sobre R. Siedlecki Vintage Books

We are a well-established, well-respected dealer that is professional, honest, and ethical in our business dealings. We tend to describe each book in a reserved, conservative manner, rather than oversell a book or sidestep the responsibility of addressing its flaws. Book club editions and library books along with books without dustjackets (if they came with dustjackets) are pointed out in our descriptions. We describe our books in detail, pointing out the precise condition of each book based on our opinion. It's your assurance that the book we describe is as close as possible to the book you’ll receive. In business since 1991, we typically have five-star ratings on major web sites.
