Sobre este artículo
John Craig (1921-1982) was a Canadian author from Peterborough, ON. After fighting in World War II he studied at the University of Manitoba and the University of Toronto, where he received a masters in Canadian history. He was a prolific writer, writing 20 books, including children's books, thrillers, and histories, as well as scripts for the CBC.
No Word for Goodbye tells the story of Ken Warren who, while spending the summer at his family's cottage on Lake Kinniwabi, befriends Paul Onaman, the son of the leader of an Ojibway band living on the lake. Together they have series of adventures, during which Ken learns about the Ojibway way of life from Paul.
This copy may be rated as being in Good condition, having some wear to the spine, especially at the top, as well as creasing on the spine, and an old bookstore price tag on the back cover. There is some mild, age-related discolouration to the pages, but the text is all clear and bright, as are the illustrations.
