Front cover has central gold-stamped branch with berries framed by series of blind-stamped rectangles. Spine has blind-stamped horizontal lines. Deckle fore edges. 452 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Spine slightly faded in places. Mild fading to covers at top and bottom edges. Page edges lightly soiled. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. Faintly darkened rectangle on front free endpaper. Smudge on bottom page edges at corner. One page has a one-inch by one-half-inch manufacturing flaw in the paper at the bottom corner; a small area in the margin is missing. Pages clean and unmarked. Color-illustrated dust jacket has overall surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, small to 1 inch tears, and creases. Dust jacket is NOT price clipped, showing original price of $2.50. Jacket spine is lightly sunned. Jacket has clear plastic jacket cover. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
