12mo (5.88 x 3.75 inches), entirely rebound with a new leather spine and red morocco label, with the original stamped sheep laid down over cardstock sides, new endpapers, 322 pages. Engraved frontispiece, illustrations in the text.
Atwater notes three different editions of the pseudo-Aristotle published under this imprint in the 1830s, one of 342 pages, another of 141, [3], 156 pages, and this one of 322 pages. See Atwater 130 (the 141, [3], 156 page edition).
