Every single volume of this set has Frank Frisch’s handwritten name and address on pastedown as well as ink stamp of Frankie Frisch and address except for Vol. 1 handwritten info on front pastedown and ink info stamp on front free endpaper and Vol. 8 only has ink info stamp on pastedown and handwritten info on rear pastedown. Frankie Frisch was an American League Baseball Player. He played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. Frisch was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1947. Nicknames for Frankie were Fordham Flash or The Old Flash. He holds the record for the most World Series hits at 58 for a player who never played for the New York Yankees. Most Valuable Player in the National League after batting .311 with 4 home runs, 82 RBI and leading the League in stolen bases with 28.
