Texts tight, clean & in tact. Blue endpapers. Volume #1 has an engraved portrait frontispiece. Volume One, Life & Plays; Two, Plays; Three, Plays; Four, Johnathan Wild; Five, Joseph Andrews; Six, Tom Jones; Seven, Tom Jones; Eight, Essays & Amelia (1) ; Nine, Amelia II; Ten, Voyage to Lisbon. Rare, Literature; 8vo, 8'x 9" tall. There's a stamp in the first volume which says bound by the very esteemed Birdsall Press for Brentano's NY. Perhaps the most attractive copy of this set on the market.
