Ownership plate belonging to James Traill to front pastedown. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to endpapers and pastedowns. Mild cracking to hinges, exposing binding thread. Binding throughout remains firm. Minor water marks to top edge of a few pages. Text is unaffected. Occasional dog-eared corners. Faint ink marks to front endpaper. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Large splits to joints, front board is slightly loose. Leather peeling overall with heavy marks and some scratches. Minor loss to spine ends, corners and rear board. Book has a slight forward lean.
