The Hillcrest Edition is one of the earliest editions of Mark Twain's works. It precedes the Authors National Edition.
These are the original bindings.
Large books almost 9 inches tall.
Set has generalized shelf wear.
This set is only in good condition for the age.
Some looseness any generalized usage wear.
The bindings are cloth. The labels are leather.
Volume ten label is chipped.
The front hinge paper of Huckleberry Finn is broken so the binding feels loose and broken.
These books look well loved and have a lot of looseness.
If condition matters please buy a different set.
Printed on quality paper.
Volume one is dated 1906. Some dates may vary.
This is an extremely early set of Twain, and these are the less common bindings. This is an extremely nice rustic antiquarian set.
Still a nice old and complete rustic antiquarian set of Twain that displays well.
