A very good set with minor rubbing to the exterior, owner's signature on free front endpapers, and occasional age toning to the leaves. Includes 36 works by the satirist, under the pseudonym of Peter Pindar, including Bozzy and Piozzi, a Town Ecologue, and A Congratulatory Epistle to James Boswell. Two subsequent volumes were published in 1796 and 1801. NCBEL II, col. 695.
