Vol I: 469pp + 21 unnumbered pages. French with English translation. Fold-out Maps. Book has red cloth covers with gold text on the spine and gilt on top edge of textblock. Minor wear to head, tail and corners, sunning to spine, water marks on covers. Some pages uncut, deckled edges on fore edge and bottom edge of textblock. Text is clear and unmarked. (490 pages). Vol II: xviii, 351pp + 15 unnumbered pages. French with English translation. Pictures, maps, fold-out pages. Book has red cloth covers with gold text on the spine and gilt on top edge of textblock. Minor wear to head, tail and corners, very minor scuffing on front and back covers, sunning on spine and edges. Some pages uncut, deckled edges on fore edge and bottom edge of textblock. Text is clear and unmarked. Library plate inside front cover of Sir Joseph Wesley Flavelle (384 pages). Vol III: xv, 418pp + 21 unnumbered pages. French language with English translations. Pictures. Book has red cloth covers with gold text on the spine and gilt on top edge of textblock. Very minor wear to head, tail and corners, minor marks and scuffs on covers, sunning to spine. Some pages uncut, deckled edges on fore edge and bottom edge of textblock. Text is clear and unmarked. One folded, loose map in back of book was meant to go with Portfolio, however it is too large to fit inside the portfolio.(454 pages). Portfolio: Folded maps (2) and plates (62). Slipcase is red cloth with gold text on the rounded spine. Wear to head, tail, corners, sunning to spine, top and bottom edges of cloth are loose, marks on front and back covers. Portfolio is red cloth with cream paper on front with black text. Marks on outter edge, very minor wear to outter corners. Contains plates I-LXII, LXXX, LXXXI and LXXXII excepting the loose, folded map found in the back of Vol III. ; The Publications of the Champlain Society; Vol. 1/3/2022; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
