New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1901. Hardcover. Good. Joseph Jefferson Edition. A complete set of 40 volumes: number 209 of 250 sets. Octavos. Bound in original quarter parchment with parchment tips and light blue paper over boards, gilt spines and gilt tops. Illustrated throughout with hand-colored frontispiece plates, wood engravings, and numerous other plates. Signed by Joseph Jefferson in Volume 1. The spine backs are soiled and darkened, modest bowing to a few volumes, a few small tears at the spine tops, overall a good or better set. A handsomely produced limited edition, printed on fine paper.
