Kemp is a pseudonym used by pulp author Gilbert Fox who published several lesbian pulp novels in the 1960s and 1970s. Plot follows Frieda, a nurse at a sleep-in household who develops several affairs with patients, including both men and women. Cover is vintage and bright, pages are clean, and textblock is tight. Overall, in very good condition.

The first novel follows a woman on the course of success and the lesbian relationships that unfold along the way. Fox was a prolific writer of lesbian pulp novels. According to Mount Saint Vincent University: Fox served as a well-decorated lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in World War II, who, after the war, moved to Greenwich Village where they became part of the New York swinging sex scene and started writing Lesbian Pulp Fiction.
