McClelland and Stewart, 1957. A well kept book. Linen coloured cloth cover with illustrations of the characters drawn in very dark grey/green. Lettering in same on spine. Spine has small tear at rear. Worn a bit on edges and corners. Endpages have a fabulous map of the 100 Aker Wood; taped along spine and taped at back, too. Some light red staining on front foredge, age darkening bottom foredge. Wonderfully illustrated cover has a few chips and tears, but has now been preserved with a mylar cover. Text is beautifully clean. Ephemera: 6 newpaper articles about Pooh.
