An exposition of Wells' socialist views through the eyes of a character much like himself. 8vo gilt-stamped green cloth boards with Wells' blind-stamped signature on front boards; 792 pages total. Bright and fine with only mild offsets to pastedowns; in good to about very good dust jackets with chipping including at spine ends (taking out some lettering), and spines mellowed but lettering still bright. Few small internal archival tape repairs. Lacking the publisher's box.
