The National Press Pty. Ltd, Melbourne, 1946. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Good. Signed by Author. Orange coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with dark blue coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A series of lectures delivered by the author in Melbourne in 1943 and 1944. Subjects include:  International World Affairs, The White Australia Policy, The Origin of Nazism, Japan, Education, Australia and You, Religion and World Affairs and Our Future. Minor softening and fading of the back strip edges with a little bumping of the book corners. Age toning to the text block edges and pages with foxing to the top text edge. The biggest fault with the book is that there is a stain to the lower text edge for the full width of the book and a smaller stain to the top right hand corner of the pages which fades out approximately at page 20  please see photograph. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. There is a piece missing to the top left-hand corner of the back strip and there are some tears to the top dustwrapper edge. Heavy staining along the back strip region and patchy staining across the top edge of the dustwrapper  please see photograph. Sunning to the verso of the dustwrapper and staining is also visible.
