This LP AMERICAN POETS AT SPOLETO includes Allen Ginsberg (all of side one) and Gregory Corso and John Berryman (side two). Released in 1969 by Applause Productions SP 412, monaural. The vinyl record is in near very good condition, with a fair amount of surface noise (pops and crackles) in some places, but not throughout the recording. The record sleeve shows light wear to front (which features a drawing by V. D. Truex), and the rear of sleeve features notes and photos of the artists. Both the sleeve (at front) and the disc (on the label for side one) have a small stamp identifying it from a high schools collection, but there are no other labels or stamps present. This is the first and complete release of these poems on a record by Applause productions; portions were later released on another label. Includes, on side 1, Allen Ginsberg reading: ZEN BUDDHIST CHANT "HIGH PERFECT WISDOM" / MESSAGE II / CAFE IN WARSAW / WHO TO BE KIND TO / PORTLAND COLISEUM / FIRST PARTY AT KEN KEESEY'S (sic) WITH HELL'S ANGELS / UPTOWN / TO THE BODY / SMALL SPOLETO MANTRA.
