Sobre este artículo
Cassell Australia, North Melbourne, Victoria, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. 284 pages, last 2 blank. Grey coloured endpapers. Bright purple coloured boards with white writing on the spine. Light bumping to the lower back strip edge. Browning and foxing to the paper edges. Internal pages have become aged toned and occasional foxing spot is visible. Plain text dust wrapper with purple background and white writing on the front panel and purple on the spine. A little rubbing to the dust wrapper corners and to the top and bottom dust wrapper edges. The white of the background has become a little yellowed. A clean and tight copy. This book provides a fascinating picture of life in rural and metropolitan Australia over two generations. It is a bizarre and comic creation of an extraordinarily inventive mind. It is an epic account of the Australian experience: gazetteer, family history, roll of honour, bestiary and documentary; a ribald, ironic tour de force. This is the first Australian edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo.
