Grosset & Dunlap, 1930-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. Hardcover with scarce DJ, 1930 copyright (actually printed around 1940 - see description) Grosset & Dunlap 216 pages plus 4 pages of ads for other boys series. Very Good+, in a VG+ DJ. Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to Red cloth boards with black titles - corners sharp. Minor shelf/edge wear, dust soiling and minor chipping to original DJ - now in mylar. Faded Green topstain. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and crisp with age-toning. Endpaper illustrations by J. Clemens Gretta. Book illustrations by Walter S. Rodgers. 9th of 21 adventures of brothers Roy and Teddy Manley in the NEW West, 1926-1941. This copy has a 1930 date but the ads at the rear of the book date this to be circa 1940. Last title on the front inside panel of the DJ flap and the ads at the rear of the book is The X Bar X Boys in the Haunted Gully which was printed in 1940. A superb copy in original DJ.
