Semi-glossy dj, white background, lettering in blue, black, gray, line drawing by Edwin Forbes of cavalry skirmish action to front. Topstained red. Plain red endpapers. Xvi pp prelim material, 256 numbered pp. Maps/photos, notes, essay on sources, bibliography, index. Condition notes: A clean copy. Primary flaw is significant foxing to dj, and textblock edges (clearly apparent on fore- and tail-, but less so on stained top edge. Foxing has not extended to interior. Light pencil notes erased on half-title page, otherwise no notes or highlighting. Spine ends rolled but corners sharp. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
