Sobre este artículo

New York: Clarkson N. Potter, Inc./Publisher, 1965. 2nd Printing. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 0x0x0. Second printing. Jacket edges rubbed with surface tears and chips. Boards soiled, page ridge foxed, ink stamp on half-title page. 1965 Hard Cover. 270 pp. "...the Yankee peddlers of early America were more than street hawkers. Enterprising, shrewd, and endearing, they were the ancestors of the nineteenth-century tycoon and the twentieth-century businessman. Carrying their wares with them, they crossed unsettled lands to reach the pioneer. ...But the peddler did more than spur commerce. He brought civilization with him from the towns to the newly settled regions. ...Dolan, in tracing the progress of the Yankee peddler over three hundred years, gives a fascinating picture of the daily life of early Americans--what they bought from the peddler, what they wore, what they ate and drank, and how they traveled." Black and white illustrations included.
