Privately Printed for the Author by the Board of Directors of Konan University, Kobe, Japan., 1956. First edition. Quarto. 41 pages. Boards with title label. Thirty poems, selected from two previous collections, together with twelve previously uncollected poems. There is also a short introduction by the author. Paper specially made by hand in the provinces of Tamba and Omi under the supervision of Bunsho Jugaku, who directed and designed the printing and binding. Small gilt design on upper cover. Spare title label at rear.Number 20 of 400 copies signed by the author on the portrait frontispiece. In addition, this is a presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the half-title page: ''For Barbara & Francis - Dennis. Berlin 1956''. Underneath this inscription Enright has written some Japanese characters.Covers a bit marked. Tail of spine bumped. Very good. Lacks the tissue dustwrapper.
